Hallo zusammen!<\/h1>\n

Wir schreiben die Weihnachtszeit 2011, das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende \u2013 und was f\u00fcr ein Jahr es war! Es ist Zeit f\u00fcr ein kleines Res\u00fcmee inklusive Ausblick 2012, einigen ausgew\u00e4hlten Fotos aus den letzten 13 Monaten und nat\u00fcrlich einen dicken Weihnachtsgru\u00df. \ud83d\ude42
Ich sitze gerade in meiner Kabine auf einem Containerschiff von Taiwan nach Australien. Zeit genug, um ein wenig \u00fcber das Erlebte nachzudenken und Fotos zu sortieren. Zwar habe ich mit fortschreitender Reise keine Ruhe mehr gehabt, um ausf\u00fchrliche Berichte zu schreiben, doch hielt ich die Momente in einem Tagebuch fest. Die ausf\u00fchrliche Version meiner Reiseerlebnisse wird folgen \u2013 sicherlich aber erst nach Heimkehr. \u00dcberraschungen sind garantiert. \ud83d\ude09
Mit Urlaub hat mein Vorhaben rein gar nichts zu tun und dies war auch nicht meine Intention als ich startete. Ich wollte mit eigenen Augen sehen und lernen wie die wahre Welt ist \u2013 in all ihren positiven wie negativen Auspr\u00e4gungen. Rastlos erlebte ich bisher in ca. 15 Monaten mehr als 70.000 km auf dem Land- und Wasserweg und lernte dabei hunderte Menschen aus allen sozialen Schichten kennen. Mein Weg war oft gespickt mit Schlaflosigkeit, Anstrengung, Ersch\u00f6pfung aber auch mit Aufregung, Abenteuer, Spa\u00df und Grenzenlosigkeit. Ob in Krisenregionen, Risikogebieten oder den friedlichsten Pl\u00e4tzchen auf Erde, ob in armen, reichen, unterdr\u00fcckten, gef\u00e4hrlichen oder sicheren Gebieten, ob alleine oder gemeinsam \u2013 mehr als nur einmal war ich schlicht fassungslos was um mich herum passiert. Ich begegnete normalen und au\u00dferordentlich weisen Menschen ebenso wie bemerkenswert beschr\u00e4nkten Exemplaren \u2013 von allen konnte ich dabei fast immer etwas lernen. Sehr oft erlebte ich wahre Gastfreundschaft, tiefe Herzlichkeit, uneigenn\u00fctzige Hilfsbereitschaft und schloss viele, viele gute Freundschaften.
Meine Neugier f\u00fchrte mich h\u00e4ufig in \u2026 sagen wir einzigartige Situationen und dehnte dadurch meine geistigen Horizont enorm \u2013 nicht selten auch mit dem \u201cBrecheisen\u201d. Mehr als nur einmal lernte ich meine pers\u00f6nlichen Grenzen kennen und wurde nur allzu oft dar\u00fcber hinaus geschoben. Dadurch erfuhr ich aber auch Gef\u00fchle und Momente in ihrer reinsten Auspr\u00e4gung: Liebe, Mu\u00dfe, Anmut, Wut, Angst, Schmerz, Sch\u00f6nheit, Genuss, Freude, innere Ruhe und Zufriedenheit, um nur ein paar zu nennen, sowie insbesondere wahre Freiheit und echtes Gl\u00fcck. Es ist zwar nur eine Aneinanderreihung von W\u00f6rtern, die Erlebnisse die ich jedoch damit verbinde, k\u00f6nnten in ihren Auspr\u00e4gungen extremer nicht sein. Ich bin dankbar f\u00fcr alles was ich bisher erfahren durfte \u2013 ob positiv oder negativ. Es ist ein Geschenk das Leben in den unterschiedlichsten Facetten kennen und dadurch auch sch\u00e4tzen zu lernen.
Ich erhalte einen sehr tiefen Einblick in die reale Welt (nicht vergleichbar mit den meisten Medienberichten!), oft fernab von ausgetretenen Touristenpfaden und bewege mich gezielt dicht an der lokalen Bev\u00f6lkerung. Mein Weg besteht insbesondere aus Lernen aber auch Lehren. Nicht viele k\u00f6nnen sich auf eine so lange und intensive Reise begeben \u2013 oder auch andersherum Deutschland besuchen \u2013 sei es aus privaten, finanziellen oder gesundheitlichen Gr\u00fcnden. Daher gebe ich mein Wissen sowie die unterwegs erhaltene Inspiration und Erfahrung gerne und in all Ihrer Ehrlichkeit weiter. Ob in Diskussionsrunden, privaten Gespr\u00e4chen, Vortr\u00e4gen, Reiseberichten, E-Mails oder als ehrenamtlicher Lehrer vor gro\u00dfen und kleinen Schulklassen \u2013 die Welt l\u00e4sst sich nur durch Aufnahme sowie offene Weitergabe von Bildung\/Wissen\/Information nachhaltig \u00e4ndern, verbessern und sch\u00fctzen. <\/p>\n

Ausblick und Finale 2012<\/h1>\n

F\u00fcr viele ist solch eine Reise ein Traum und in scheinbar weiter Ferne. Nun, nichts ist unm\u00f6glich \u2013 es kommt auf die innere Einstellung an. Kurzfristig gestartet und nur bis Peking geplant, habe ich mich spontan in dieses Abenteuer gest\u00fcrzt und dabei gelernt: Die Welt ist l\u00e4ngst nicht so schlecht wie uns suggeriert wird \u2013 ganz im Gegenteil! Unterwegs erfahre ich viel Freude, Hoffnung, W\u00fcnsche und Menschlichkeit \u2013 alle diese Dinge m\u00f6chte ich aus innerer \u00dcberzeugung wiedergeben, um so einen Teil zu unserer Gesellschaft beizutragen. Ob in Gespr\u00e4chen, online oder zuk\u00fcnftig in gedruckter Form \u2013 gerne lasse ich Familie, Freunde und Leute von \u00fcberall auf der Welt daran teilhaben. Verst\u00e4ndnis schaffen, verstehen, den geistigen Horizont erweitern, Hoffnung und Freude geben sowie neue Wege und M\u00f6glichkeiten aufzeigen \u2013 mittendrin statt nur dabei. \ud83d\ude09
Leute die mich kennen, wissen, dass ich keine halben Sachen mache. So ist es auch mit dieser Reise. Mittlerweile bin ich in Australien angekommen und begebe mich nun auf den \u201cR\u00fcckweg\u201d. Ein besonderer R\u00fcckweg mit spezieller Route. Ohne Flugzeug m\u00f6chte ich die Weltumrundung abschlie\u00dfen und dabei auch die verbleibenden vier Kontinente Antarktis, S\u00fcdamerika, Nordamerika und Afrika mit einbeziehen. Um dieses Vorhaben abzuschlie\u00dfen, liegen noch mindestens 60.000 flugzeuglose Kilometer vor mir. Dieses Projekt hat dabei erstaunliche \u00c4hnlichkeiten mit einer Doktorarbeit: \u201cExperimente machen\u201d sowie Informationen und besonders Erfahrungen sammeln. Es folgen zwar kleinere Berichte zwischendurch, doch die richtige \u201cAnalyse\u201d kommt erst hinterher. Auszuwerten gibt es schon gen\u00fcgend: Bisher sind es >26.000 Bilder, >100 GB Videomaterial, GPS-Daten, t\u00e4gliche und detaillierte Tagebuch-Mitschriften sowie zwei Videoprojekte, welche mit Sicherheit eine Menge Freude verbreiten werden. <\/p>\n

Im Sommer 2012 m\u00f6chte ich wieder in der geliebten Heimat ankommen. Doch bis zum Finale ist wortw\u00f6rtlich noch ein weiter Weg. Zwar bin ich gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils alleine unterwegs, aber dennoch ist diese durchaus spezielle Weltumrundung inkl. der angestrebten Ideen ohne Unterst\u00fctzung schlicht nicht m\u00f6glich.
Ich brauche Eure Hilfe, um dieses geplante Vorhaben erfolgreich abzuschlie\u00dfen und den letzten gro\u00dfen Abschnitt zu meistern. Hey together!<\/h1>\n

We write the Christmas season 2011, the year draws to a close – what a year! It\u2019s time for a little summary, including an outlook for 2012, some selected photos from the past 13 months and of course a big Christmas greeting. \ud83d\ude42
I’m sitting in my cabin on a container ship from Taiwan to Australia. Time enough to think a little about the experiences and do photo-sorting. Although I had no time to write detailed reports, I\u2019ve captured all moments in a diary. The detailed version of my travel will follow \u2013 certainly after my return home. Surprises are guaranteed. \ud83d\ude09
My journey has nothing to do with vacation and it was not my intention when I started. I wanted to see the real world with my own eyes and learn more from it \u2013 if positive or negative in all its forms. In the last 15 months and more than 70,000 km on land and water, I met hundreds of people from all social levels. My path often contained insomnia, effort, fatigue but also excitement, adventure, fun and limitless. Whether in crisis regions, risk areas or the most peaceful place on earth, whether poor, rich, dangerous or safe areas, whether alone or together – more than once I was simply stunned by what happens around me. I have met extraordinary and ordinary people as well as remarkably limited individuals \u2013 I could almost always learn something from them. Very often I experienced true hospitality, deep sincerity, unselfish helpfulness and got many, many good friends.
My curiosity led me often …into let’s say unique situations and thereby expanded my intellectual horizon enormously \u2013 often with the „crowbar“. More than once I got to know my personal limits and was pushed all too often beyond. But because of this I learned feelings and moments in its purest form: love, leisure, grace, anger, fear, pain, beauty, pleasure, joy, inner peace and satisfaction, to name just a few, and especially freedom and true happiness. Although this is just a series of words, but the experiences I associate couldn\u2019t be more extreme in their expressions. I\u2019m grateful for everything I could learn \u2013whether it was positive or negative. It\u2019s a gift to see the life in many different facets and thereby learn to appreciate it.
I get a deep insight into the real world (not comparable to most media reports!). Often far from the beaten tourist track and close to the local population. My current path consists in particular of learning but also teaching. Not many can go on such a long and intense journey \u2013 whether for private, financial or health reasons. Therefore, I give my knowledge, received inspiration, experience and happiness in all honesty. Whether in discussions, private conversations, lectures, travel reports, e-mail or as a volunteer teacher in front of large and small school classes \u2013 only if we openly spread our education \/ knowledge \/ information we can change, sustainably improve and protect our world.<\/p>\n

Outlook and Finales 2012<\/h1>\n

For many such a trip might be a dream and seemingly far away. Well, nothing is impossible \u2013 it depends on the attitude. With no backpacking-experience at all and only planned till Beijing, I spontaneously fell into this adventure and learned: The world is not nearly as bad as suggested to us \u2013 it\u2019s quite the contrary! On the way I experienced a lot of joy, hope, wishes and humanity \u2013 all these things I want to give back out of inner conviction, so as to contribute to our society. Whether in interviews, online or in printed form in the future \u2013 I like to let family, friends and people from all over the world participate. To create understanding, expand the intellectual horizons, give hope, joy and show new ways and possibilities that there\u2019s always a way.
People who know me, know that I don\u2019t do things by halves. So it\u2019s with this trip. I arrived in Australia and now put myself on the „way back“. A special return with a special route. I want to finish to circumnavigate the globe without airplane, including to touch ground on the remaining four continents Antarctica, South America, North America and Africa. To complete this project, there are at least 60,000 no-airplane-km in front of me. This project has a lot similarities with a thesis: „doing experiments“ and collect more information and experiences. Although there are some smaller reports in between, but the real „analysis“ comes at the end. So far I already got a lot of \u201cdata\u201d: >26,000 images, >100 GB of video footage, GPS data, detailed daily diary transcripts and two video projects, which certainly spread a lot of happiness out in the world. \ud83d\ude09
In summer 2012, I\u2019d like to arrive back in Germany. But until the finale it\u2019s literally still a long way. Although I\u2019m mostly alone on the road, this special trip around the world including the intended projects is without support simply not possible.
